Plot:

Based on a 2005 novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, "Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close" tells the story of 9-year-old Oskar Schell (Horn), who lives in New York City with his parents. He spends a lot of his time with his father, playing a game called Reconnaissance Mission. However, Oskar's comes crashing down when loses his father (Hanks) in the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001, as his father was on the 105th floor of the south tower of the World Trade Center at the time and dies in the collapse. Subsequently, Oskar goes on a journey across New York to find a lock-box to which his father had left the key to discover what it is that his father meant for him to find.
