Singaporean director Jack Neo delivers an average piece with a twist surrounding the human conscience. The victim here is not of Neo's juicy sex scandal affair, but of slimming centre owner Max (Mark Lee) who often goes against his conscience (NoNo) within his line of work and whose wife (Yeo Yann Yann) undergoes major stress trying to conceive a child for over 8 years.

Shedding his typical onscreen 'ah beng' image, Mark Lee this time dons a more serious appearance wearing business attires with his jet-black hair coolly slicked back throughout the film. However, fans of the actor might be put off with his new image as his comedic actions are restrained, thus lacked the humour and charm to keep the film going. It's more so annoying with the presence of his conscience who pops up, preaching and making failed slapstick humour, every time an evil deed is about to take action. Frankly, Taiwanese TV host NoNo is definitely no actor and should best stay in his hosting role. Meanwhile, Yeo Yann Yann is a charming actress whose quirky onscreen personality makes her a lovable person to watch. Watch out for when she tries to get hot and steamy with her husband.

The film has limited laugh-out-loud moments such as the sudden breakout dance of Super Junior's "Sorry, Sorry" by NoNo and Singaporean TV host Jeremy Chan, however most of the humour derives from bloopers at the end when credits start to roll. Moreover, there is an awkward musical number between Mark Lee and NoNo while they sing out what's right and what's wrong together with a poorly executed CGI-ed landscape atop a high rise building. Apart from that, Jack Neo executes unusual multiple endings, which turns out to be of something amusing within this veteran filmmaker's movie standards.

Dishing out a very clear-cut message to act with your conscience (because karma will probably bite you in the ass if you don't) the movie overall falls short of entertainment value but is still worth the watch if you're into Jack Neo's works. In the end, it is hard being a human being.
